Our 2004, 14.3HH, Black Stallion, Mark is a dream come true for us. Once we discovered Mark's sire, Petanio, and learned about his pedigree and temperament, we knew we had to have some of that! And boy did we luck out in spades! Mark bred his first mare as a two year old and settled her after only one breeding and has continued to be an easy and eager breeder.
Mark has proven to be athletic, smart and responsive. He completely shocked his Quarter Horse lovin' trainer, Gus Evagelopoulos, of KE Performance Horses, with just how smart and athletic he is. Mark has been started in the exacting sport of Reining, and is doing wonderfully well. He showed at the 2010 Okanagan Breeder's Showcase and received comments like "Hello, GORGEOUS!" from barn viewers.
Both top and bottom of Mark's pedigree provide Mark with an outstanding combination of athletic ability, endurance, keen mindedness and type. It is said that the heritage of Justin Morgan is that his descendants should walk the earth proudly, serve man willingly, work vigorously, move gracefully and posses a kindly, eager spirit, dauntless courage, a distinguished way of going and an easily recognizable beauty of conformation.
