Our 1990 Chestnut mare, Lottie, is our main broodmare and a complete sweetheart. At 14.3HH, there is nothing that this mare isn't willing and able to do. From being a pro in the back country to teaching children to ride, even acting as a therapy horse on occasion, Lottie defines the Morgan temperament and versatility we so love.
Lottie was purchased as a two year old from long time friends Pat and Frank Russell of Russell's Morgans in Kelowna, BC. Their goal has always been to produce strong, versatile, old style Morgans with people loving
personalities.
A mare that can give confidence to adults and teach children proper horsemanship is a true treasure, and we will be grateful to Lottie for generations to come!
Not to be outdone by the youngsters...Lottie outruns them all in a race through the snowy pasture - proving without doubt that this 21 year old mare still has the STUFF!

Carmi's Ebony (Russell's Spider x Four-L Charisma) CMHA #8893 AMHA #0173153
Our 1993 Black mare, Ebony, is very special. She has been a main competitor for us in dressage and endurance and she is a trusted mount on our challenging back country trails. We have yet to find an obstacle that she was unwilling to travel through or over. On our first camping trip in the back country, Ebony carried large packs as well as myself, went over narrow trail bridges and stood on a high line, all without fuss! At 15HH, this powerful mare just does not know the meaning of CAN'T!
We have been fortunate to have had 2 foals from Ebony. One a filly, GNRZoos Redhot Jazz, who has found an eventing home with Erica Moir in Abbotsford. Erica and Jazz have formed a wonderful relationship, and Erica reports that Jazz LOVES to jump...this mare was meant to FLY! They are a very competitive team and are doing extremely well in their first year of Eventing together. We are so proud of their success, and wish them many competitive years.

Recently imported from Wyoming, USA, this 2006 mare is UC Davis tested as being a bay DUN! Not only that, but she is homozygous for black, giving her a genotype of EE Aa Dd. We couldn't be more excited! This beautiful young mare offers GNR Morgans size, colour, a top notch pedigree, and a sweetheart personality. Not only that but she's a fabulous mover too! We are looking forward to an exciting future with this wonderful mare.
Maggie is SUCH a beautiful mare. A true treasure and we just love her!
Update! Maggie is really coming along with her training with Gus Evagelopoulos of KE Performance Horses. As always, we are grateful to Gus's efforts on our behalf. As promised, here are a few photos of Mags under saddle with Cody Wiebe, training assistant in the saddle.
Maggie has taken a while to settle into Gus's program - but she's rockin' now! What a sweet expression she has!
She's not showing it in these pictures, but Maggie has an OUTSTANDING extended trot! I'm looking forward to covering some major miles with this young lady!
