Our 2009 black gelding, Ridge Runner, is a fabulous example of wonderful Brunk and Old Government breeding. A Petanio grandson, Ridge is showing off his heritage with his intelligence and style. You can almost "see" the wheels turning inside this young boy.
Ridge's dam, Ebony, is one of our favorite riding horses and competes well in Endurance and dressage events. We wait to see if she has passed along her competitive spirit to her latest colt, as she did in her filly Redhot Jazz.
Ridge's sire, Mark, is doing very well in learning the exacting sport of Reining, and has passed along his elastic, athletic ability to his first colt.
Ridge seems to have it all...good breeding, good bone, good manners. As a yearling, Ridge stood 13.3HH and we fully expect him to mature to 14.3HH.

Ridge is maturing very nicely. He is developing some confidence and is working well away from the herd. Ridge is walking through creeks and bush without worry or hesitation. He promises to make a wonderful, smart, athletic partner for the trail or competition.
